High School Workshop Draws Crowd On February 7, 2009, the Athletic Training Student Club, in conjunction with alumna Michelle (Geiger) Okayama from Bonita High School, put on a workshop for high school students that attracted 52 students and their supervisors.
2008 Community Fun Run Runners and walkers of all speeds turned out for the 2008 Community Fun Run, including alumni, staff, faculty, and current students.

ULV Active at NATA Convention A number of current ULV students, faculty, and staff were present at the 59th Annual National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Meeting and Clinical Symposia in St. Louis, MO June 17-21. Here are some photos from the meeting.
ULV at FWATA The 2008 Far West Athletic Trainers' Association Annual Meeting was held in Burlingame, CA April 4-7. ULV was well represented with faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Seniors Katrina McCoy, Bobby Ruiz, and Ricky Huerta presented "Muscle Energy Techniques", while Juniors Ashley Bruley, Jennifer Crabbe, and Chris Duarte-McDermott presented "LASER Therapy." Additionally, ATEP Faculty Kim Detwiler was the keynote speaker for the Student Session.
Highway Cleaning The Athletic Training Student Club has adopted a stretch of the 210 Freeway in La Verne for cleaning. Every month, members of the club take time out of their schedules for this public service.

Adopt A Highway The Athletic Training Student Club, through the CalTrans “Adopt–A-Highway” program, chose the stretch of the 210 Freeway east of Fruit Street for monthly cleaning. Members of the club took a moment before the September cleaning to take this photo.
