MSS Minor
The Minor in Movement and Sports Science is designed to supplement a degree from another department. Candidates for the minor look to combine an interest in the sports sciences with another major. A minor in MSS may be earned by taking the following courses, or individually designed in conjunction with an MSS Faculty member and approved by the Department Chair.
Prerequisite for MSS 455 and 456:

Prerequisite for MSS 370 - 373:
MSS 333 Curriculum & Organization in PE (4)
Core Requirements:
MSS 151 Health & Physical Fitness Strategies (4) MSS 230 Field Work and Foundations of Movement and Sports Science (4) MSS 323 Scientific Principles of Movement (2) MSS 455 Kinesiology (4), or MSS 456 Physiology of Exercise (4)
Electives:
A minimum of 6 semester hours from MSS 370-373 Methods and Practice of Teaching courses (4,4)
