Certification Test

All faculty and staff involved in administering, overseeing, teaching or conducting research involving human participants at the University of La Verne must complete the Certification Test found at the link below.

Steps to the La Verne Certification

Step 1. The La Verne Certification Test is based on our Policies & Procedures. Please review this document first, Click Here.

Step 2. Take the Certification Test

When you have completed the test, please print the Certificate of Completion, sign and date the certificate, and forward to the Institutional Review Board Chair at the University of La Verne. As with other important documents, you may wish to keep a copy of the Certificate of Completion for your own records.

NIH Certification

All faculty and staff involved in administering, overseeing, teaching or conducting research involving human participants at the University of La Verne must complete the "Protecting Human Subject Research" course that is available online and take the quiz at the completion of this online preparation.
