|Dr. Soomi Lee-Visiting Assistant Professor of Public Administration
Dr. Soomi Lee is a visiting Assistant Professor of Public Administration at the College of Business and Public Management at the University of La Verne. She teaches quantitative research methods, data analysis, and microeconomic analysis for public policy. Her research encompasses public finance, social identity and diversity, and informal institutions. Her primary research includes the role of procedural fairness on public resource allocation, the effect of racial diversity on public good provision at the local and the state levels, and juvenile justice issues in California. She works with the Children’s Rights Division of Human Rights Watch in the Los Angeles office. Professor Lee received her Ph.D in Economics and Political Science from the Claremont Graduate University in 2011.
