Through Summer Service you can make a difference in the lives of others and earn credit and a scholarship, by improving your self-esteem, leadership and job skills.
What You Give:
- Ten weeks of service
- Your time and talents
- Yourself
What You Receive:
- Up to $3,000 in scholarship aid
- Room and board for ten weeks
- A weekly stipend of $50 for ten weeks
- A chance to practice and develop leadership skills
- New friends
- The opportunity to grow spiritually
- The opportunity to fulfill your service learning requirement
Where You Work:
In churches, child-care centers, nursing homes, centers for the homeless and hungry, summer camps for churches, for handicapped youth, for inner-city children and other places of need throughout the Pacific North and South West.
