The Troubadour

New York bands Cymbals Eat Guitars and the Depreciation Guild will be opening for the Pains of Being Pure at Heart at 8 p.m. on Sept. 19 at the Troubadour. Tickets are currently on sale for $15. For more information visit troubadour.com.

Bright Lights L.A.

Bright Lights L.A. is an agency that hosts hybrid events, promoting fashion and music throughout Los Angeles. On Sept. 25 at the Silver Factory Studios, Bright Lights L.A. will be hosting a runway show with designs provided by U.S. Rags and music by Mr. Loveless, De Hombres, the Nightbirds, and Xanimo. Jaus Gallery

From Sept. 11 through Oct. 24, the On the Shoulders of David exhibition, organized by Ichiro Irie, will be featuring the work of over 30 artists. The exhibition is open to the public at the Jaus Gallery with reservation. For more information visit jausart.com.

Sky Art Over Pasadena

Artist Bruce Nauman will feature his never-before produced work, “Untitled, 1969/2009″ in the form of skywriting. It will state, “Leave the Land Alone.” Viewing is free.
