‘Blood Wedding’

Federico García Lorca’s “Blood Wedding,” will be again held at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12-14 in Dailey Theater. A matinee performance will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 for general admission, $8 for seniors and $5 for students with an I.D. For more information, contact the Theater Arts Department at 909-593-3511, ext. 4386.

Reed Gratz Band

Reed Gratz will perform with his band at 8 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Ludwick Conference Room of the Campus Center.
Members of the band include Gratz on piano, Andrew Ford on bass, Mike Bennett on drums and Steve Biondo on percussion.General admission is $5.  Students get in free. For more information, visit laverne.edu/academics/arts-sciences/music/concert.

Julian Casablancas

The Strokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas will headline his own concert series at the Downtown Palace Theater in Los Angeles. Performances will run every Friday of November, with doors opening at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $38-$50.Casablancas will be promoting his fist solo album, “Phrazes for the Young.”For more information, visit myspace.com/juliancasablancas.

Chain Reaction

Cartel, This Providence, the Summer Set, and the Dares will perform at Chain Reaction on Nov. 14.
The event calls for a night of mainstream indie rock. Admission is $18 and doors open at 7:30 p.m. The performances are projected to end at 11:30 p.m. For more information, visit allages.com.
