Irene Carlson Gallery
The Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography will exhibit “Uninvited” by Leah Gose and Ashlae Shepler. The exhibit will run through Dec. 4. La Verne will be hosting Federico García Lorca’s, “Blood Wedding,” in Dailey Theater, this Friday through Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The show will also run from Nov. 12-14 at the same time. The tragedy will be brushing up on the issues of death and the woman in society, both common topics of Spanish folklore. “Blood Wedding” is focused on bride who leaves the bridegroom, only to elope with an enemy of her family. Upland Music & Arts Festival
Downtown Upland will host more 100 performances, workshops and exhibits related to art from Friday through Sunday. The intent of the festival is to educate those more about art. The three-day’s festival will be received with a Friday night performance by Hellogoodbye. It is located on 136 E. Ninth St. in Upland. Ticket prices vary depending on the day.
