Vagina Monologues

As part of the V-day celebration, the 5th Annual presentation of the Vagina Monologues will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in Daily Theatre. Proceeds will benefit the David and Margaret Home and the women of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Admission is $5 for students and $8 for general.

‘God Grew Tired of Us’

The film “God Grew Tired of Us” will be played at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in La Fetra Auditorium as part of a Film Festival on Immigration. The film follows three Sudanese boys adjusting to American life after fleeing from Sudan’s civil war.

Scary Kids Scaring Kids

Scary Kids Scaring Kids will play the Glass House at 7 p.m. tonight as part of its “Last Tour Ever.” Opening acts include The Sleeping, Modsun, Connelly and One Last Look. General admission is $16. For more information visit www.theglasshouse.us.

The Bird and the Bee

The Bird and the Bee will play the El Rey Theater tonight to promote its most recent contribution of their tribute to the Hall and Oates album. Juliette Commagere will open the show. Doors open at 8 p.m. and General admission is $20. For more information visit www.theelrey.com.

Manchester Orchestra

Atlanta rockers Manchester Orchestra will play two dates at the Troubadour on Tuesday and Wednesday. The concert will open with The Features, Biffy Clyro, and O’Brother. Doors open at 6 p.m. and general admission is $16.
