Owl City

Electronica meets pop as Minnesota’s Owl City plays at the Pomona Fox Theatre Wednesday.
Since the mainstream popularity of its single, “Fireflies,” the band has been selling out concerts throughout its headlining tour. Opening acts include Lights and Paper Route. Doors open at 6:40 p.m. and tickets are $20. For more information visit foxpomona.com.

Claremont Colleges

Join the community and school to enjoy the muse of Ludwig Van Beethoven and Sergei Prokofiev at 8 p.m. Saturday. The faculty recital will include the renditions of the famous pieces by the violin and piano. The concert will be at Boone Recital Hall, located at 241 East 10th Street. KillFest 2010

The Palladium will host the 25th Anniversary Tour of KillFest in Hollywood tonight. Some of the bands playing for the event include Overkill, Under Lying Truth, Birch Hill Dam and Scalpel. The Lyon Crowns

San Diego based alternative rock band The Lyon Crowns will be headlining at the Troubadour on Saturday.
