Crime in Stereo

Long Island rock band Crime in Stereo will headline a show at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Chain Reaction in Anaheim. The band will play its first release, “The Troubled Stateside” in its entirety at the show. The album was released in 2006. Opening acts include Robbers, Forever Came Calling and Shadows. JJ

Indie pop Swedish duo JJ will be playing at Echoplex on Saturday. The group has put out two albums in the past eight months offering up a poppy Balearic beats accompanied by female vocals with hints of R&B. Zoe

Mexican indie band Zoe will be headlining at the Monday at the Glass House in Pomona. The band has earned a Gold Record for their album “The Room” and has brought the brilliance of rock-en-Español to the world. Opening for the band with their psychedelic swagger is Los Angeles locals Lemon Sun. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $30. For more information visit theglasshouse.us.

Scripps College

The noon concert Series continues on Friday in Balch Auditorium at Scripps College as Pomona College. Music professors Jack Sanders (guitar), Joti Rockwell (mandolin) and Jason Yoshida (theorbo) will perform music by Karl Kohn and Domenico Scarlatti. For more information visit collegescalendar.org.
