Alumni celebrate artist’s work

University of La Verne faculty and alumni engaged in a day of the art of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, the early 20th century painter, on Saturday. The event, hosted by Alumni Relations, began with a lecture by Jon Leaver, assistant professor of art history, in the President’s Dining Room. Leaver then escorted guests to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to see Renoir’s work up close. / photo by Christopher Guzman
