From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, join the Aloha Fest in Sneaky Park. Live music, giveaways and Polynesian dancers will provide the entertainment. Island food will be served.
Dan Sperry from “America’s Got Talent” will host a magic show at 10 p.m. on Oct. 25 in the Campus Center Ballroom. Sperry’s show, “Magic No Longer Sucks,” has been performed in Boston, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. There will be free food at the show.
The doors will open at 8 p.m. Saturday for a show featuring The National at the Glass House in Pomona. Owen Pallet will open the show. Tickets cost $32.50 in advance and $47.50 for V.I.P. passes.

The Fall Music Series at the Boston Court Performing Arts Center continues at 8 p.m. Oct. 22 with a performance of Majacar Flamenco, an award-winning flamenco ensemble. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences continues the Contemporary Documentaries series at 7 p.m. Wednesdays. This series features feature-length and short documentaries that were considered for 2009 Academy Award nominations. The filmmakers will be present at the screening whenever possible. The films will show at the Linwood Dunn Theater. Admission and parking are free.
