American Indian Month
As a part of celebrating American Indian Heritage Month, the Multicultural Club Council and Office of Multicultural Services are sponsoring two presentations scheduled. From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday in the Campus Center Ballroom A, there will be a KICK play highlighting the issue of stereotyping and the usage of Native Americans as mascots. This is an engaging play with a facilitated segment. Light snacks will be provided. From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Campus Center Ballroom A, Michael Heralda will recount ancestral stories and combine them with song and music. The Multicultural Club Council and the Office of Multicultural Services hopes for all to join in the fun. For more information contact Daniel Loera at 909-593-3511, ext. 4253.
