Faculty Lecture Series

The faculty lecture series, sponsored by the Faculty Research Committee and La Verne Academy, will continue with Sharon Davis’ presentation, “The Aspirational Dreams and Goals of Incarcerated Male Juvenile Delinquents” at 12:03 p.m. Monday in the President’s Dining Room. There will not be a lecture March 14 because the University will be closed for spring break. Joan Branin’s presentation, “Evaluation of a Promotora Education Training Program to Promote Disability Know­ledge, Referrals and Use of Community Resources among Hispanic Immigrants” will be at 12:03 p.m. March 21. Community Yard Sale

The La Verne Chamber of Commerce and Bonita High School will host a community yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Bonita High School parking lot. Admission and parking are free. For more information, call the Chamber of Commerce office at 909-593-5265.
