Psi Chi relieves the stress of finals

Psi Chi, the international psychology honors society at the University of La Verne, held a stress relief event on Wednesday afternoon in the University Mall to help students have fun and forget about the stress of the finals.

The event, which attracted approximately 30 students, had an inflatable jumper as well as a variety of vendors there to hand out free items and clubs to offer different forms of stress relief.

Among the other goods available for students to enjoy were a snow cone machine, snow globes made by the Japanese Culture Club, and free items and apparel for sale from the La Verne Bookstore.

LA Fitness was also at the event handing out free week-long passes for students as a way of promoting exercise as a form of relieving stress.

Despite a cloudy day and small turnout, Psi Chi considered the event a success due to the amount of students who seemed to enjoy themselves and forget their stress, even if it was for a moment.
