Yoko Ono Exhibit
“Yoko Ono and John Lennon’s Year of Peace” exhibition will open Monday in the Harris Art Gallery. The exhibition focuses on the ideals of peace and love, and follows the work of Yoko Ono and John Lennon as solo artists, as a couple in the 1960s. Tavo Olmos’s photography exhibit titled “Memory Space” is open for viewing through Dec. 9. The exhibition is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or by appointment Mondays through Fridays in the Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography in Miller Hall.
The Theatre Seminar will host children’s theater producer Ozzie Tollefson from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Jane Dibbel Cabaret Theater. Tollefson is known for his writing, production and performances on a number of child-friendly presentations including prejudice, geology and dinosaurs.
Open Mic Night
The Black Student Union will hold an Open Mic Night at 10 p.m. Nov. Thursday in Dailey Theatre. The event will feature special guest performances as well as poets, musicians and singers.
Claremont Art Exhibit
The diverse works of artists Lyn Hendricks, Dennis Midyett, Tom Skelly and Anthe Wosczyna will be on display from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday in Loft 204 of the Claremont Packing House. The exhibit is free, and all ages are welcome.
