Students in the Integrated Business Program, who operate the company LV Tech Designs, make new product presentation in the Landis Academic Center on Tuesday. The group – which includes Jonathon Agee, Brenda Perez, Raul Rodriguez, Karina Balmaceda, Blanca Mireles, Alicia Chhan, Brianna Martinelli and Jonathan Truong – pitched a University-themed laptop sleeve to Wells Fargo Bank Vice President Norm Liversidge and Assistant Vice President James H. Do. Based on the presentation, Wells Fargo gave the team a $5,000 loan to start their business. All profits from the sale of the laptop sleeves will go to the LeRoy Haynes Center, a local charity that helps children with special needs.
