One More Move Bike Rodeo
Children are encouraged to come out to the One More Move Bike Rodeo to get lessons in bicylce safety on city streets. Volunteers will be repairing bicycles to be donated at the event. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Incycle in San Dimas, located at 561 W. Arrow Highway. CUPSI Poetry Slam
The University of La Verne is hosting the 2012 national CUPSI Poetry Slam on Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Approximately 300-350 students, representing 48 teams from 50 schools, are visiting the University to compete. Art and Graffiti Event
The Social Commentary and Activism Through Graffiti class will host an Empowerment Through Art and Graffiti Community Event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 27 in the University Mall. ALS Walk
University of La Verne students have organized a walk to benefit ALS on Sunday from 7 a.m. to noon. at Alta Loma High School. Anyone interested in more information is encouraged to visit the housing office.
