Members of the University of La Verne men’s soccer celebrated Labor Day early in the afternoon before heading over to the new stadium for evening practice. After playing two games in New York and flying back the previous morning, the team was back on the field to practice before the first home game of the season, against Pacific University. The Leopards defeated Pacific 3-1. The Leopards will host Bethesda Christian Saturday at Ortmayer Stadium. / photo by Katherine Careaga
