Theater Auditions
The Theater Department will hold auditions for Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice,” 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today in Dailey Theatre. There will also be auditions for Voices and 11 Directing Class Projects. Auditions are open to everyone.
Book Signing and Lecture
“Smashed” author Lisa Luedeke will hold a presentation about her debut teen novel at 4 p.m. Feb. 20 in the Campus Center Ballroom.
Carlson Gallery
A reception for photographer Mitch Dobrowner’s exhibit “Vital Firmament” will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Carlson Gallery. Admission is free.
Literary Festival
West Covina will host the 2013 San Gabriel Valley Literary Festival, featuring poets, fiction writers, graphic novelists, and artists. ULV professors Cathy Irwin and Bill Cook will present at the festival. The festival will run from noon to 9 p.m. Friday to Sunday at the West Covina Civic Center. Admission is free. Glass House
Every Time I Die will continue their headlining tour at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Glass House in Pomona. Opening acts include The Acacia Strain, Vanna, Hundredth, No Bragging Rights. General admission is $15.
Chain Reaction
Artist vs Poet will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim. Acts include Blackbear and Lil Richid. General admission is $10.
