Art and Grafitti Empowerment
The sociology and anthropology department will host “Empowerment Through Art and Grafitti” Friday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. in Sneaky Park and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom. There will be live music and performances along with a graffiti wall and speakers who will talk about the role of graffiti in society.
The music department continues its week-long piano festival Friday and Saturday with recitals at 8 p.m. each night and at 3 p.m. on Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free for students and $10 for the general public.
‘Trumpet of Freedom’
Norman Marshall will present his one-man show “John Brown: Trumpet of Freedom” at 7 p.m. March 26 in the Campus Center Ballroom. Admission is free.
The West Gallery in the Campus Center hosts “Colorforms,” a solo exhibit of paintings by Megan Madzoeff. The show runs through April 19. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by appointment.
The Carlson Gallery presents photographer Mitch Dobrowner’s exhibit “Vital Firmament.” The exhibit will run through April 5. The gallery is open to the public 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Glendora Chalk Walk
