Theater Senior Projects

The theater department presents “Mademoiselle X: Ourselves in Disguise,” a one-woman show written and performed by Teresa Yslas Beardsley and “Voices,” written by Jose Arias at 7:30 p.m. April 4-6 at in the Jane Dibbel Cabaret. For reservations call 909-593-3511, ext. 4386.

Faculty Recital

Carol Stephenson and Jonathan Mack will perform with pianist Grace Xia Zhao at 6 p.m. on April 7 in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free for students and $5 for general admission.

Idol Finals

Mu Phi Epsilon presents the La Verne Idol finals where the final five contestants will compete for the grand prize on at 10 p.m. Tuesday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free for students and $5 for general admission.


The West Gallery in the Campus Center hosts “Colorforms,” a solo exhibit of paintings by Megan Madzoeff. The show runs through April 19. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by appointment.

Claremont Art Walk

The Claremont Village will host its monthly art walk from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today. An opening reception will be held at the Claremont Community Foundation, at 205 Yale Ave. in Claremont.


Inland Pacific Ballet’s original production of “Cinderella” returns to Bridges Auditorium at Pomona College at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m on April 20, and at 1 pm on April 21. Ticket prices range from $20-$38. For more information visit
