Directing Projects

The theater department’s student-directed works, consisting of one-act plays, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theatre. Admission is free.

Guitar Ensemble

Guitar ensemble students will perform at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

Student Art Show

The art department presents the Spring Student Art Show at 3 p.m. Thursday in the art studios in the Arts and Communications Building. Artwork from students in Painting II, Sculpture and Design will be on display. Admission is free.

‘Geolocation’

The Carlson Gallery is hosting photographers Nate Larson and Marni Shindel­man’s exhibit “Geo­location: Desert­scapes,” which will run through May 24. The gallery is open to the public 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.

‘Campus’

The Harris Gallery exhibit “Campus: Selec­tions from the La Verne Art Collection” features works by several student artists. The exhibit is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, through May 20. Admission is free.

Warped Tour 2013

The annual Vans Warped Tour will be at the Fairplex in Pomona on June 20-21. The concert will feature performances by Sleeping With Sirens, August Burns Red, Chiodos, Forever the Sickest Kids and more. Tickets are available online at vanswarpedtour.frontgatetickets.com.
