Open Auditions

There will be open auditions for theatre student directing projects 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. today at Dailey Theatre. There are more than 45 roles available for 10 minute plays. Everyone is welcome to audition and no previous acting experience is necessary.

Student Recital

The University of La Verne will hold a student recital at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

Faculty Recital

Danielle Rosaria Cummins and Nicodemus Maracut will perform with the La Verne Chamber Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

‘Bette and Boo’

“The Marriage of Bette and Boo” by Christopher Durang will show at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Dailey Theatre. General admission is $15, faculty, staff and senior admission is $12 and student admission is $8.

‘44 Days’

The Carlson Gallery is displaying photographer David Burnett’s exhibit, “44 Days – Iran and The Remaking of The World” through Dec. 13. Admis­sion is free. Burnett will give an accompanying lecture at 4 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Campus Center Ballroom. A reception immediately following the lecture will be in the gallery.

Middle East Ensemble

The UC Santa Barbara Middle East Ensemble and other performers will perform traditional and contemporary music and dance 8 p.m. Saturday at the Bridges Hall of Music in Pomona College. Admission is free.
