Limited free tickets to a special advance screening “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be distributed to University of La Verne students at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sneaky Park. The screening will take place at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 20 at Edwards Cinemas in La Verne. Tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis to students with a valid student I.D.
‘Bette and Boo’
Dailey Theatre will present “The Marriage of Bette and Boo” by Christopher Durang at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 24. Tickets are $15 for general admission; $12 for faculty, staff and seniors; and $8 for students.
The Carlson Gallery is displaying photographer David Burnett’s “44 Days – Iran and The Remaking of The World” through Dec. 13. Admission is free. Burnett will give a lecture at 4 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Campus Center Ballroom. A reception in the gallery will immediately follow.
A series of paintings by Walpa D’Mark is on display in the West Gallery of the Campus Center. The exhibition will run through Dec. 10. Admission is free.
