Drought cancels Mt. Baldy ski season

After record-breaking rains in February, Mt. Baldy still has not received enough snow to open for ski season. In prior years, the mountain would have normally received 40 inches of snow by this time. But this year, it has received only a fraction of that amount. Unless the mountain receives substantial late season snow, the ski, snowboard and tubing trails will remain closed. / photo by Alison Rodriguez
