Abel Jacome joins other dancers for the Second Annual Honoring the Elements Powwow at Pomona College Saturday. The northern host drum, The Wildhorse Singers, and the southern host drum, The Northridge Boys, performed traditional and contemporary Native American songs. Community members were invited to join the dancers during the intertribal pieces. The event was held in honor of the ancestors and to harmonize with tribal homelands. / photo by Amanda Nieto
