Mora and three others, including his resident assistant, Albert Trujillo, senior business major, had set up a slackline between two trees and were attempting to walk from one side to the other. Slackline has become recently become popular; it was even featured during the half-time show of Super Bowl XLVI.

Freshman communications major Amber J. Guadez received a free In-N-Out Burger meal in Sneaky Park after turning in spare change from her Spotted Pig. The money received from the pigs goes to the Student Emergency Loan Fund. Students facing personal emergencies or financial hardship may request a small loan to help fulfill their needs.
