When spring semester comes to an end, so does spring football. Friday marked the end of spring football, where new head coach Chris Krich distilled accountability and discipline into his new players.

On April 25 the golf team won the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships for the fifth year in a row.

Although the Leopards lost the first two games of the SCIAC Championship tournament, they finished their season strong with a win against Caltech 13-5.

Saturday was a rough day for the softball team as it dropped both games in a doubleheader against Redlands with scores of 5-2 in game one and 11-8 in game two at Wheeler Park.

The men’s and women’s track teams took part in the 25th annual Pomona-Pitzer Invita­tional on Saturday where the men’s 4×400 team took first place, women’s 4×100 finished in fifth, and men’s 4×100 took third.

It was a short day on Friday, as the Leopards took on the 0-18 Caltech Beavers at Ben Hines Field, dominating 14-1 in a seven inning game.

It was a cold, cloudy day as the Leopards took on Salisbury University, fighting their way through the match, but ending the day with an 8-1 loss at the Claremont Club last Thursday.

After having the first game of the series cancelled on Friday, the Leopards took on Cal Lutheran for a doubleheader Saturday at Ben Hines Field. La Verne won both games by scores of 7-5 and 8-0.

After a weekend of rainy weather, the sun was out on Tuesday when La Verne took first place in SCIAC No. 3 tournament at Sierra Lakes Golf Course.

After a disappointing loss to Pomona-Pitzer on Friday, the Leopards came back with two big wins against the Sagehens in a doubleheader last Saturday with a score of 9-4 in the first game, and 4-1 in the second game.
