When he first started playing at the age of seven, soccer was not something Angel de Alba thought he could ever develop a passion for.

Paul Alvarez has been an athletic trainer and professor at the University of La Verne for 24 years. He is currently the chairman of the Movement and Sports Science Department. He sat down to discuss his experience at the 2010 World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia, and his time at La Verne.
