Scripps College’s Balch Auditorium shined its spotlight on poetry and music of German origin Tuesday night at Musikabend, an evening of poetry and music.

Jack Cunningham, a University of La Verne alumnus, performed a stand-up comedy set last Thursday at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, raising laughs with his jokes about politics, his own personal observations, and everyday situations that the common person encounters.

On Saturday the Leopards split contests with the Redlands Bulldogs in a doubleheader at Ben Hines Field.

Not a single soul present in Friday night’s audience at the University of La Verne’s Dailey Theatre was left unmoved by the theater arts department’s rendition of the 2007 Pulitzer Award-winning drama, “Rabbit Hole.”
