Abortion bill is misogynistic

Rep. Bobby Franklin (R-Ga) proposed an anti-abortion bill that would make miscarriages a felony if the mother cannot prove there was no “human involvement.” The legislation excludes those miscarriages that can be proven accidental and due to the woman’s bodily functions. Anyone who cannot prove their miscarriage was an act of nature could face the death penalty or life behind bars.

Fox News recently reported that a study from Edinburgh Napier University has concluded the number of friends a person has on Facebook can be directly related to how miserable a person’s life is. After studying 200 students and their use of Facebook, the study found, “For a significant number of users, the negative effects of Facebook outweigh the benefits of staying in touch with friends and family.”

Parking should be a priority

With the construction starting on the University of La Verne’s new dorms, students eagerly await the new housing that will be available to them.
