This year the Women’s International Art show had its opening reception on March 12 at the Latino Art Museum in the Pomona Art Colony and will continue through Saturday.

Michael Ryan and Friends enchanted the audience in the packed Morgan Auditorium on Saturday with the concert “Gypsy Passion.” It was full of great Spanish music and flamenco dancers making the experience exhilarating.
With the help of bolts, screws, felt and a regular drinking glass, the “East Meets West” performance at the Little Bridges Hall in Claremont entertained with traditional Chinese music and a twist of historical poetry.
“Worker” is a performance-based presentation that includes emerging artists James Gilbert and Jennifer Vanderpool’s sculptural elements, video and audio, creating an effective visual and aural experience throughout Jan. 27 until March 25 at the Lenzner Family Art Gallery at Pitzer College in Claremont.

Sweet harmonious voices of the Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers transported the Morgan Auditorium into the world of spiritual music.
