After a six-year volleyball career, senior setter Kendall Kraiss is graduating and saying goodbye to the competitive sport she fell in love with in high school.

Saturday was a big night for Leopard volleyball as it faced off with the visiting Whittier Poets in senior Mika Chan’s final home game at La Verne. The Leopards fell in a sweep, 25-13, 28-26 and 25-23.

The Leopards fell short 3-1 in a point-for-point match against the Occidental Tigers Tuesday. The team played hard and had its moments, but broke under pressure resulting in a Tigers victory of 25-21, 21-25, 25-21 and 25-19.

The La Verne Leopards crushed the Caltech Beavers Wednesday at Frantz Athletic Court in a quick three-set sweep, 25-4, 25-12 and 25-14.
