Occupy L.A.’s carnival of the bizarre
On Nov. 23 I ventured into the city with a few friends. As I walked down Spring Street we noticed the now infamous Occupy L.A. camp on the south side of City Hall and decided to pay a visit.

Not too long ago the University of La Verne adopted a policy which would further restrict where smokers could smoke. The policy, which will be enforced on Jan. 1, will restrict smokers to lighting up in parking lots.
Commentary: Gays have the civil right to marry
Although there was nothing close to it on the Nov. 2 ballot, gay marriage is still an issue that must be dealt with. And by that I mean it should be legalized. The fact of the matter is there is no real argument against legalizing gay marriage.
