Faculty recital ties strings together with notes
Bridges Hall of Music in Claremont hosted a faculty recital featuring two highly accomplished artists Saturday: composer and musician Andrew McIntosh, who performed with a violin and a viola, and professor Gayle Blankenburg who performed on the piano.
Bill Gates stresses giving in Claremont talk
Bill Gates led a question-and-answer session on March 10 in Bridges Auditorium in Claremont in front of students from Pomona College and Harvey Mudd College. Gates spoke little about Microsoft and instead focused more on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, healthcare, agriculture and his other philanthropic ventures.
