Tuesday night the gym was filled with students ready to see balls fly, cheer for friends and maybe a see someone take a ball to the face at the Campus Activities Board’s intramural dodgeball tournament.

Alzheimer’s affects as many as 2.4 million people. That’s why the Campus Activities Board held the “We Will Never Forget” event Tuesday to mark Alzheimer’s Awareness Day and educate the community on this debilitating disease.

Paula Zepeda hands out boba during the CAB sponsored event “Make Your Own Boba” in Sneaky Park on Wednesday. Boba is a sweet drink mix of chai tea, milk and tapioca balls. The event was a hit, selling out in less than 50 minutes.

Students awaited the beginning of the “Leopards of the Caribbean Carnival” as ASULV set up red and white striped tents at the Ortmayer Athletic Complex for the orientation week finale Sept. 3.

Screaming and excited fans anxiously awaited the biggest concert on the University of La Verne campus as Heartstop, Oh My Stars and the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus transformed the Athletic Pavilion into a rockin’ concert venue on May 14.

Beads of every color and letter imaginable were used to make friendship bracelets for children with cancer, offering a simple message of hope from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday outside the Campus Center.
