The La Verne volleyball team extended its winning streak to nine after defeating Pomona-Pitzer, 3-1, Caltech, 3-0 and Austin College, 3-1, this weekend at Frantz Athletic Court. The Leopards are now ranked No. 20 in the nation.
The La Verne baseball team defeated Chapman in seven innings, 11-1, in the second game of its doubleheader Saturday at Ben Hines Field. The Leopards dropped the first game, 7-5.
