As a freshman at the University of La Verne, I was absolutely terrified and excited for what would happen in my four years here.

I am a girl with curves and I am proud of that. Three years ago though, I was sporting big bulky black sweaters, oversized shirts and hid behind a forest of hair everyday to become as invisible as possible.

She’s blonde, considered cute and has way more attitude than any other girls her age. The lime-light is being stolen by 6-year-old Alana Thompson. better known as “Honey Boo Boo.”

College is the start of every student’s professional career. Here we are able to expand our minds with lectures about our field of interest and discussions in the classroom.

As Greeks on the University of La Verne campus, we hold a very special spot as leaders. Due to the size of the campus and how social all of the students are, nothing is sacred.

With the amount of vulgarity that families are exposed to on a daily basis in the United States. I can understand that there are entire groups devoted to protecting the family environment.

It is Halloween, a time I usually like to celebrate by going to see the latest installment of a horror movie franchise that studios love to beat to death. This year it will be “Paranormal Activity 3,” which I have very little hope for.

With four weeks left of school, I am happy to see a generous amount of culture coming to the campus in the form of music. Since the opening of Morgan Auditorium, the sound of singing has been echoing throughout Founders Hall.
