The La Verne Chamber Orchestra, which was formed last semester by senior adjunct professor of music Danielle Cummins, has grown to new dimensions with new instrumentalists and the guidance of conductor and senior music major Emmanuel Lagumbay.
The University of La Verne campus was roaring Saturday night with the noise of the home football game, but inside Morgan Auditorium the sounds of the violins crying and pianos playing filled the acoustics of the room.

A collectively unique-looking group of all ages, atypical to the musical ensembles you usually see at the University, gathered onstage with their violins, violas or cellos for their weekly rehearsal at Morgan Auditorium.
The gentle tune of violins and piano treated a small audience as the Rosé Trio performed a short concert on May 3 in Morgan Auditorium.
The Rose Trio filled Morgan Auditorium with melodic music Nov. 8. The trio consists of three violinists: Sarah Wallin Huff, Irene Shiao and adjunct professor of music Danielle Cummins.
The music department presented a faculty recital featuring Danielle Rosaria Cummins on violin, Benjamin Coyte on cello and Vernon Snyder on piano who played a sonata and trio Friday in Morgan Auditorium.
