Monday’s faculty lecture featured Justin Saldana’s presentation “Language Immersion: Psychosocial Implications,” based on his sabbatical project of traveling to France to study the language there and compare it to how immigrant students here learn English.

About 50 students, staff and faculty attended the event titled “Linguistic Pluralism and Education in Spain: Past and Present” at noon Monday, in the President’s Dining Room.
