Harvel Lewis Carly Hill Staff Writer Harvel Lewis, alumna and longtime faculty member of the University of La Verne, died Jan. 9 of a heart attack in Pomona. Mrs. Lewis was an inspiration to many, and an advocate for diversity throughout her life.
