LV Christmas tree farm Heritage Park will open its annual Christmas tree farm on Nov. 27. People can come to enjoy the sights and purchase their own fir tree. “Sleigh” rides will be offered for $1 on the weekend. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends. Marie Kelly and her grandson, Justin Boultwood, were among many from the La Verne community at Heritage Park Saturday for the opportunity to pick oranges for purchase. The event marks the ninth year that the park has hosted orange picking for the community. Activities add to holiday festivities
Heritage Park is hosting its annual Christmas Tree Farm, with a hay maze for children and a garden patch decorated for the holidays. Frank Molina, an Arizona resident, volunteers every year at the Christmas Tree farm. Pumpkin patch features petting zoo, family fun
The La Verne Heritage Foundation, dedicated to preserving the history of La Verne, opened its annual pumpkin patch at Heritage Park on Oct. 10. One-year-old Bryce Diley carefully selects his pumpkin from the hundreds of all shapes and sizes. The patch also features a petting zoo and hay rides.
