Full of emotion and creativity, seniors Teresa Yslas Beardsley and Jose Arias debuted “Made­moiselle X: Ourselves in Disguise” and “Voices,” respectively, as their senior projects from April 4 through April 6 at the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theatre.

Wednesday night marked the beginning of the four-night student-directed one-acts event in Dailey Theatre. The one-acts are part of the finals of the directing class to give the students hands-on experience in directing.

Student poets were given a chance to showcase their talent March 29 in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret.

“The Pillowman,” an Irish play written by Martin McDonagh, was adapted to American theater and is being brought to the University of La Verne by Danny Bride for his senior project.
