Written and performed by Teresa Yslas Beardsley, “Mademoiselle X: Ourselves in Disguise,” is a one-woman show that displayed Beardsley’s acting talent in the form of several different characters. Poets explore realms of humor, love
Shannon Garcia, a senior sociology and speech communications major, recites a poem about gender issues and marriage during the Open Mic event hosted by the Black Student Union and the Poetry Club on March 29 in the Jane Dibbell Carbaret.
