Water polo gets win, preps for conference
La Verne drowned the Gannon Golden Knights, 8-6, on Sunday at the Aquatics Center in Las Flores Park. Gannon’s Greg Naranjo (No. 13) was unsuccessful in his attempt to score a goal against goalie Alan Nevarez and utility player John Roche in the second quarter. ULV won the match 8-5.
