The Campus Activities Board organized a joint celebration of Easter and Passover for students to enjoy on April 5 in the University Mall.
About a dozen students and staff members gathered Tuesday evening in Davenport Dining Hall to participate in a model Passover seder commemorating the holiday which begins Friday night and marks the Jewish exodus from Egypt.
On Tuesday students, faculty and staff gathered to experience the University’s annual Model Passover Seder. The Seder is a Jewish ritual which marks the beginning of the eight-day Jewish holiday Passover.
Music filled the air as more than 30 students, faculty and community members celebrated the Jewish Exodus from Egypt in a Model Seder on March 25.
