At 76 Peggy Redman, director of the La Verne experience and director of teacher education, is retiring.
Professor of Education and Director of Teacher Education Peggy Redman was the Spirit of La Verne Award winner at the University’s inaugural Spirit of La Verne Awards ceremony held in the Church of the Brethren Thursday.
Marisol Morales, the new director of civic and community engagement, who started in the fall semester, hopes to turn her new office into an endowed department in the future.
University administrators will launch phase two of the La Verne Experience – the sophomore experience – in the fall of 2014. The Sophomore La Verne Experience, or SOLVE, will essentially be a two-unit course centered around student involvement.
