Clo Hidalgo Staff Writer The University of La Verne hosted its first Pianofest concert series for a week in Morgan Auditorium where a number of pianists performed on different days. The first concert began on March 11 with Reed Gratz and Gayle Serdan of ULV performing together on two different pianos. Genevieve Lee performs at Pianofest
Genevieve Lee, professor of music at Pomona College, performed a solo recital program titled “Keyboard Kaleidoscope,” as part of Pianofest 2013. Lee performed Jardins sous la pluie from Estampes by Claude Debussy, among several other works, in Morgan Auditorium Tuesday. Art and Grafitti Empowerment The sociology and anthropology department will host “Empowerment Through Art and Grafitti” Friday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. in Sneaky Park and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom.
